Project SHINE: New Look, Same Great Service!

Blog tags:

Welcome to the new Project SHINE website! After many hours of arduous work, we are happy to launch the new projectshine.org. The Project SHINE team has updated the website with the same great content as the previous one (actually, with new and improved resources!), but is far more easily navigable.

Looking to the right side of the page, you find our resources categorized for your convenience. You also find links to our social media outlets, for up-to-the-minute information on all of the Project SHINE sites around the nation. This side of your screen also has the SHINE consortium member links which takes you to contact information for individual consortium members as well as their own local websites.

Looking to the left of your monitor, you see what you are reading now, our staff blog. The blog is regularly updated with information, musings, thoughts, and experiences from the Project SHINE team. There are actually some entries already, so be sure to check them out when you have time!

"About Us" offers information on Project SHINE's history and all of the programs we are currently running nationally, as well as direct links to individual local Consortium sites, our current research, and information on the Project SHINE National team.

"Opportunities" offers a brief description of the various ways an individual may choose to participate with Project SHINE, be it as a volunteer, AmeriCorps member, or paid instructor... and if you don't really have the time to donate but still want to support Project SHINE, we very graciously accept donations to continue our work.

"Resources" takes you to our robust selection of information, worksheets, data, tools, training materials, and more to support volunteers, learners, and faculty in all aspects of the Project SHINE process.

"Media" offers links to Project SHINE in the news, our newsletter, SHINE stories of inspirational learners and volunteers, our blogs, and our videos.

The new website is designed to serve you, the viewer, so if you have any questions or comments, go to the "Contact Us" section of the navigation bar and let us know how we can make our page better!

Thank you so much for taking the time to learn more about Project SHINE, and we hope to work with you in the future!
