  • Understand the benefits of exercising and learn about ways to safely increase activity level

  • Knowing the warning signs of stress and depression and what you can do to manage stress and stay healthy

Language Focus

  • Vocabulary for describing eating habits, cooking terms, measurements, physical activity, feelings of stress and depression
  • Using the phrases “used to”, “be used to”, and “get used to” to compare the past to the present
  • Using quantifiers to talk about food
  • Using gerunds and infinitives
  • Using stress to distinguish the pronunciation of “can” and “can’t”
