  • Understanding and being able to talk about: the symptoms and complications of, the risk factors for, and ways to prevent and manage Type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, heart attack, and stroke

  • Vocabulary for describing the symptoms, complications, risk factors and common treatments for diabetes, high blood pressure, heart attack and stroke
  • Use questions with helping verbs to get advice and information
  • Use “will” and “be going to” to talk about the future
  • Common reductions in spoken English (pronunciation)
